Meet Dr. Michael Taras
Modern Dental Smiles introduces Dr. Michael Taras, has over 23 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from University of Florida / College of Dentistry in 2000. He is a Florida Native . He provides patients with quality care and continues to do so in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, restorative and oral surgery. He is well known for his patient satisfaction and his ability to treat all his patients' needs with compassion and care. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and fishing in Sunny South Florida.
Meet Dr. Gary Kodish
I was born and grew up in South Florida. I graduated from Emory University in 1975 and in 1979 received his DDS Degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. I am licensed in both Florida and Georgia. I’m a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Atlantic Coast District Dental Society, I earned my Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in 1989 and am a member of the Academy of Implant Dentistry. I’m a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Implantology. I have also participated in the Atlantic and Broward Dental Research Clinics. I have completed over hundreds of continuing education hours over the years. I sold my practice in 2020 in Ft. Lauderdale and decided to travel and visit family. With my wife, Mindy, we have 5 adult kids and 8 grandchildren. Retirement was short lived and I felt I had more to give to dentistry and patients, so I went back to working a few days a week. In my spare time I love to play golf and talk to my grandkids.
Meet Dr. Angela Estrella
Dr. Angela Estrella, originally from the Dominican Republic has been practicing for over 8 years. She earned dental degrees from Columbia University, The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry and Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.
She is committed to furthering her education to provide the best care possible and treats patients of all ages. She is devoted to remaining up to date on the latest technologies to provide the highest level of patient care.
Compassion, trustworthiness and detail oriented are some of the values of extreme importance for her.
Dr. Estrella’s main focus is Cosmetic, Implant Restorative Dentistry, Family Dentistry and Laser Dentistry. She is Invisalign certified and LANAP certified . She performs the Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure ( LANAP) for the treatment of periodontal disease , also known as gum disease.
She is an active member of American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Atlantic Coast District Dental Association.
In her free time she enjoys activities such as Pilates, the beach , reading, and community service. She also loves to spend time and travel with her husband and family.
